What You Need to Know About Your Nissan Key Fob

You can control the music through your smartphone so you don't have to leave your car.
Intelligent Key Fob have a built-in antenna that transmits the signal when you enter your vehicle or press one of its buttons. Once your vehicle receives this signal, it activates the system, opening or locking doors, beginning the engine, and also opening the trunk. To test the fob out take a step back from your car and press on the buttons. If the lights flash or the horn beeps then you've successfully programmed your Intelligent Key Fob.

Then, open its battery compartment. Remove the old battery, then place a brand new one in its place. Make sure that the positive side of the new battery is facing the same direction as the previous one did. Finally shut the battery compartment and return the key to its safe place within the case.

Nissan remote start is a feature that allows drivers to heat up or cool their vehicle from outside of the vehicle, if they're within the operating range. Lockout Protection
Lockout protection can prevent lockouts that are caused by impedance problems. A special module inside the power control unit monitors for impedance relay activity and then shuts down the output. This option is available on vehicles equipped with the Smart Key system, or through the vehicle's personalization menu.

Lock-out-tag-out (LOTO) is a method to ensure that machines are shut off until a person with authorization releases them, helps to prevent these incidents.
The LOTO system is comprised of a series of locks tags, locks, and other devices that are used to isolate, secure or block the machine from electrical sources. All "affected", "authorized", and "qualified" personnel must be instructed on the use of these devices. These devices include, but are not limited, to chains, locks, and padlocks. Each device is clearly identified and labeled with the date and time of the application along with the name of the person who is authorized to use it, and the reason for the lockout/tag-out (repair, maintenance, etc).
